I've been debating on sharing my review my dad stayed here for about 3 years and I got a call that he was having seizures I already had some other problems he had fractured his knee fractured his ankle his knee into places waiting on the nurses to get there when my dad was sent out for having seizures I went out to remove him from the home couple days later and get his belongings CNA came up to me and asked me about my dad and how he was doing she let me know that she had been reporting to the head nurse that my dad was not himself and he may be having seizures they refused to send him out this place is filthy it's nasty and it's sad as I was removing my dad's belongings he had black mold in the side of his nightstand he had a piece of birthday cheesecake I had gave him in a container from a year ago this place is so sad and disgusting and he needs to be shut down I had many many problems with them but those to me are the major ones oh and here's the big kicker not to mention my dad is a veteran this is not how we treat our veterans this is not how we treat people who have served our country my dad is now in a better place not close to home and I would love for that for him to be up the street but I'd rather him have the best healthcare he can get and if I have to travel far I will as long as I know he's getting the care that he needs that's what matters to me

The facility is clean and comfortable and has had several upgrades since my previous family member had stayed there a few years ago.

The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful during this hard time. Communicating the needs of my family member instead of complaining to them really helped our experience. Thank you Madera Rehab!

We had a patient dropped off by Madera rehab. The patient was left unattended and in the sun. Once the appointment was over he was called by Madera Rehab to catch a ride on the bus, STILL unattended. Truly saddening.

My 89 year old Dad fell & ultimately had to have hip surgery & was sent here for physical therapy. The entire staff were really good! The nurses & therapist were very gentle & patient with my dad & the wait time from the time my dad would push the nurse button to the time they would come in was always come pretty fast to see what he needed. The therapist would come in to get him for therapy if he was sleeping they would come back later when he was awake, but always got his therapy in! They kept the place clean. As much as I hated having my dad there because he lives with me & every day with him is a gift, but if I had to put my dad in a Home short term or long term & would definitely feel comfortable placing him here for quality care.

This is the best rehab and nursing center in Madera. My mom was here for rehab after she had a stroke and she goes back periodically for respite care. The staff, from the business office to the nurses, are very friendly and thorough and they take great care of her. They are super helpful and attentive to her and answer any questions we may have promptly. The rehab technicians work well with her and have even had the family come in to teach us how to help her better. My mom and I have been very happy with this facility and the staff.

Filthy, broken beds. Staff could not care less about the patients. Personally witnessed staff on multiple, multiple times being horrible to my grandmother. I learned too late that my grandmother fell head first out of bed, reported to staff and staff did nothing to make sure she was okay. No neuro checks, no imaging, nothing. Resulted in her having a catastrophic stroke. Do not put your loved ones here. I promise you they will die. I'm working on filling a formal complaint.

My friend had a stroke and stayed her, she hadn't showered in day and when they offered, 2 young guys were too happy to want to shower her.i this was at 4:00 I asked 3 times till 2 young girls said the would take he.i I brought her food which I reminded the girls it needed to be refrigerated it sat for5 hr before I THINK the put it away. Patients crying for help noisey,noises, don't answer the nurse call button.It was bad my friend just cried feeling worthless and uncredited for.
