So sadden to hear the closing of the one in Vancouver. This one still has that nostalgic feel, though it's a shared babies r us, which limits the selection they have. Being from the US, I am still so excited to find one! Clean location and friendly staff!

When I recently visited the Toys“R”Us in Langley at Willowbrook Mall, my first impression was very positive. The store is large, bright, and well-organized, with shelves packed full of toys for every age group. I especially enjoyed exploring the Lego section, which was huge, and I also noticed areas for books, party balloons, and even some entertainment items that made the store feel more like a complete family destination. Walking in, it felt like stepping into a world of fun and discovery for both kids and adults.
The staff interactions were mixed, but there were definitely highlights. On one occasion, a team member named Emma went above and beyond to help me find the right product, and her friendly attitude made the shopping experience far more pleasant. I was also impressed by how quickly the staff reacted when a child was briefly lost in the store—they locked the entrance and coordinated to ensure safety. That kind of responsiveness gave me confidence in the professionalism of the team.
At the same time, I did notice some drawbacks that reflect what many other customers have mentioned. The return policy can feel unclear and sometimes frustrating. For example, items like Lego sets were marked as final sale only after purchase, which left some customers disappointed. On another visit, I experienced staff who seemed less willing to help, and it felt like finding assistance in such a large store took more effort than it should. Prices, too, are not always competitive, with some toys costing more than on Amazon or Walmart.
Overall, my experience was good but not perfect. Toys“R”Us Langley is a wonderful place if you want to browse toys in person, get inspired, and let kids enjoy the excitement of seeing products firsthand. However, I recommend checking prices beforehand and clarifying return policies at checkout. With a few improvements in customer service and transparency, this location could easily become a top shopping spot for families in the area.

A paradise for kids (and nostalgic adults too!)

Toys “R” Us never disappoints! It’s still one of the best places to shop for kids’ toys, games, and baby items. The selection is huge — from the latest action figures and LEGO sets to puzzles, bikes, and educational toys. My little one is always thrilled when we visit.

The staff at the store were friendly and patient, and the layout made it easy to browse by age or interest. I also appreciate the in-store demo sections — it’s a great way to let kids interact before buying.

Prices are competitive, and they often have great sales or bundle deals. Definitely a go-to spot for birthdays, holidays, or just a surprise treat!

I visited your store yesterday with my wife to check out some strollers and was very impressed with the service provided by Michael. He took the time to walk us through the pros and cons of the model I had shortlisted based on my online research, and also introduced us to other comparable models with different or improved features. What stood out was how he shared his own summary of customer reviews, both for the current and previous versions of the stroller we were considering, which was incredibly helpful.

His knowledge, patience, and genuine willingness to assist made our experience truly excellent.

I’m a big fan of toy stores and Toys R Us is a favourite. This store is great for kids and adults. The store has it all. First of all it’s clean and well lit. Lots of parking outside and easy access to the store. Getting back to what is inside the store and it is eye candy for the toy person. Nothing is missing from this store. For me it’s the massive Lego section. Other sections of the store will appeal to other toy enthusiasts.

Great place to take your kids and let them choose thw toys. Thousands of toys to choose from with great selection in store. Staff friendly and very helpful with all the questions you might have. Highly recommend. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Store is nice and has a good selection, prices are a little high in some areas but reasonable in others.

I would like to see more staff, during my visit I only saw one person and she was the cashier.

They have a decent selection of Hasbro, McFarlane, NECA and Mattel toys.
Their Lego selection is good but smaller than what I expected.

Small selection of movies, some pop culture clothing and nicely surprised to see a good selection of books and Manga.

It is too bad that there are no other locations anymore, we do not live close to here but would visit Toys R Us more often if there was one close by.

I had a great experience at Toys“R”Us, and a big part of that was thanks to Esha! She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of her way to help me find exactly what I was looking for.
