Bears in daytime the closed main section to Alouette has now been black bear inhabited, see photo. Dog and horse paths however are much better if lacking bear spray here… Rocks helped and noise and luckily not mama bear & cub!!

Krátká procházka lesem plná zeleně. Okruh má jen 650 metrů a je přizpůsoben i pro vozíčkáře, je na něm spousta laviček pro případný odpočinek či kochání se okolím.

Such a nice hike one of the more easy ones that golden ears has to offer, the tree provide a lot of shade so it’s a nice trail to do on rainy day. The trees will help shield you from the rain, and there is something so beautiful when everything glistens from the rain. The fresh pine smell is enhanced and you can just feel your endorphins rise with each breath you take. Perfect for anytime of year and level of hiking, if you are a beginner definitely recommend this as a starter trail. Take your time and enjoy the views you won’t regret it

Such a magical place, I will never tire of it! It is beautiful and serene all year round (but especially during autumn due to the extra lush moss, mushrooms, and fog). The trail itself is quite short and flat, and there are accessible parking permits and potties on site.

Beautiful easy trail. You can do it in a short time or spend hours taking many if the small side trails. This trail is suitable for children, seniors etc as it is mainly flat. Beautiful moss covered trees and many Ferns and skunk cabbage.

Very quiet and serene her but I found it a little scary. The trail was also not marked so I kept wondering if I could get lost on my way back. Would be lovely to find a nice spot to bask in the quietness and read a book or just listen to nature. I turned back quite early as I wasn’t sure I’d know exactly which of the trails will bring me back to the car park. Maybe better suited to a more seasoned hiker.

A nice easy trail for everyone, but beware - dog feces is often left behind. Nice things to photograph though.

The Spirea nature trial is a hiking area in Maple Ridge with a small main loop, I think it didn’t take us 35 minutes to go through it, it’s a nice place, there are bathrooms and that they we were lucky to coincide with the celebration of a small wedding, where an artist played a violin and the attendees dressed very elegantly, that experience, made my short walk memorable.
To improve the labelling, more label are missing and the ones that exist are small and not very clear.
