We were so happy to find SA Appliance Repair. They communicated throughout the process wonderfully. We were given a 2 hour time window with a phone call 30min. prior to arrival. The repairman was cordial and polite, explaining exactly what was needed for the repair. We have never had good experience with repair companies. Multiple times in the past we've had a repairman come out and charge us the $75 trip charge and say "sorry , cannot fix it" (My husband and I speculated that those guys make a pretty decent living just charging the trip charge and never actually fixing anything! ) BUT! SA Repair explained to us that if the refrigerator wasn't fixed we would not be charged! I've never heard of a company doing that! What a great job! Honest work for honest pay!! Thank you!

Awful, save yourself some time and money and steer clear of this business. We originally called with a dripping water dispenser on our fridge. The initial diagnostic visit went well, on time, but everything after that was a complete mess. The technician scheduled a time and date for actual repair, and then simply didn't show up. He called but did not leave a message saying he would not be able to make it, so I had to call back and he simply stated, "sorry, I wasn't working yesterday". Rescheduled, and again, no-show. This went on for some time, until finally he showed up for the repair. He completed it in a few hours, and I thought we were done, except that after about two days the dripping from the water dispenser continued. Called up the technician, he scheduled us for the next day, and then, once again, completely failed to show up or call to notify us. Ended up having to put a stop on the check I wrote as I could not get ahold of this guy to get a refund, and had to call another repair company! WILL NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!

This company is now the reason I will choose to replace an appliance rather than repair. The first time they were supposed to come out I was at home waiting and they said they were on their way. I got a call over an hour after they were supposed to be there and the guy told me that he had a family emergency and he had to turn around. OK, I can understand that but a courtesy phone call would have appropriate, I didn't know that until I called to inquire where he was. They finally showed up (late) at the second appointment we set and diagnosed the problem. They told me the cost to repair and that it would take 1 day to get the part. They were paid and 1 week later I had to call them to see what was going on. They told me the part was back ordered. I called them a few days later and they told me that the part was ready, again if I hadn't called I wouldn't have known. I called on a Friday and the guy tried to make an appointment for an HOUR later. I was at work and it was the middle of the day. He told me that he could come Saturday between 11 and 1. It was 2 when I called, no answer, I called again later and still no answer. When I finally got someone on the phone Monday, he claimed that the technician called and I didn't answer. I admit I lost it a bit and I let him have it. I told him that it is easy to prove, we can exchange phone records to see who is lying as there was no message. He ended up telling me that the technician will be disciplined if it turned out that he lied, I am sure that is a lie too. It is now Tuesday October 18 3:23 pm. They were supposed to show up between 12 and 2. I will update this review if they ever fix my dishwasher.

Contacted them late one weekday evening when my fridge broke down. Started out great, they answered, scheduled an appointment the next day around 3pm. Came out on time and assessed the problem, then gave me a quote and said they would be out the following day to fix it around the same time. Following Day comes around, and they Never showed... I called and asked if they could come out the following day first thing, which they did not until late in the day the next day to repair my fridge.

To make matters worse; The repair was not thoroughly completed. My fridge ended up OVER cooling after they “fixed” it. I called 4-5 Times the following day, and even texted their rep directly to report the issue was still ongoing, NO response. No call back. Nothing. Been going on 2 weeks now without a fully functioning refrigerator. Avoid this company.

I am completely dismayed with S.A. Appliance Repair Center. On the bottom of their invoice, they provide an email address, but that is an invalid address and bounces back. I have left many phone messages asking the company to return my payment for repair because the technician has not returned and the problem was never fixed. I would not recommend SA Appliance Repair at all--you can never talk to anyone and once they have your money, there is nothing they are honorably bound to do for you apparently. Very disappointing.

He showed up for the diagnostic and charged us the $60 fee. Thankfully I paid cash. Told us he’d be in touch. We called him again, and he said he had the part. Scheduled a day/time and he didn’t show up! We called him again (eventually he didn’t even pick up until we called him from a new number) and then told us they no longer manufactured the part. (It’s a 2018 fridge…) I called whirlpool(our fridge make) and they said, for sure, there’s no reason why a fridge this new would not have manufactured parts. They told us we might still be partially under warranty and gave us two technicians they work with in the DMV that charge the same diagnostic fee and they might not even charge the repairs if the issue is covered by whirlpools guarantee.

SA appliance repair is a scam. Plain and simple. I will find a way to report this shady flaky business.

Not to mention: he said he was allergic to our dogs (we put them away) but refused a mask we offered for his “allergies” since we understood. My dog didn’t like him and frankly I see why now.

This company is exceptionally unreliable. We had them come to service our Bosch washer and they gave us a window of time. They didn't post during the window, so we called and they said we were wrong and that it was way later. They posted way later then the second window. Do not use if you have to be at work.

I got charged a 60 fee for them to tell me they cant do anything about it. They lure you in by telling you that the 60 bucks also goes in towards your repair and that there is a 25 dollor off if it is over a 100. But this is a way to scam you out of your hard earned money even if they dont repair anything. I am never using their services again and I suggest you dont as well.
