Tried Pinoy's Place near our house, which offers late night Filipino options. It's run by Kusina Ni Javen Jessel, a cooking duo that has primarily focused on catering in the past (and present, I think). The menu's primarily silog dishes (garlic fried rice with egg, vinegar sauce, and the meat of your choice) with roughly ten to choose from. An incredibly tasty complimentary broth helped us pass the time while our entrees cooked--this is a not a busy spot, so everything is cooked to order.

Ben had beef (tapsilog) and I had sausage (longganisilog) - I asked for the spicy option, but I'm pretty sure I got the sweet one instead (still tasty!). Prices are good for quite a fair bit of meat! Definitely add the vinegar sauce to the rice for some extra flavor.
Bonus points for a refreshing calamansi juice, too.

It's nice to have another option for dining after 10pm, when everything but chains has closed up in the 'burbs. I'm hopeful I can try some of their trademark dishes in the future, like bone marrow tacos and a buko pandan dessert cup. But I think it's definitely a spot where you have to take what you can get at that time of night! ?

My favorite Filipino food! Excellent service, nice environment, and the food is made to order. I love the tocino and tapsilog with Java rice and fried eggs. The lumpia are crispy, flavorful, and the dipping sauce completes it. I eat here at least 2-3 times per month. Make sure to try the desserts.

Came to this new place. The lechon that they only serve every Saturday was crunchy and served hot. The staff was nice and friendly he assisted me in the menu that they will cook per order. I hope they would offer a ready to go food variety option soon. The place was clean and cozy disturbed by a lady who laughs like a man.

A fantastic experience! Found on Instagram because I needed an order delivered for a small party. I ordered lumpia shanghai, pancit canton, lechon belly and chicken skewers. They were very responsive and answered questions quickly about my order. Customer service was top notch and the delivery was right on time - delivery window was between 10:30-11am and it arrived right at 10:45am. Food was hot and delicious. Absolutely will order food again and consider it for a larger event, as I saw they can also do more extensive party planning and catering services. Thank you!

Highly recommended and family owned! We went here on a Wednesday and got $5 off per meal “silog” orders! Food is really great and price is very competitive. 3rd sunday is buffet with different themes all the time so cant wait to try that!

People are the best. It feels like they’re family the way they take care of customers. I ordered a lumpia rice plate and my goodness. Sinigang too. It just made me miss my mom. BEST AND CLOSEST HOMECOOKED MEALS IN EAST BAY. They’re still renovating so don’t expect bougie tables but the food alone is worth the trip!!!!!!!
Ps: Any late night cravings here too! Closes at 11pm.
