Mahal’s Kitchen is amazing! Great service with great people working here! It’s a small crew, but they definitely make it feel like it’s big! The Boba Tea was amazing! I highly recommend coming back here on Fridays for karaoke!!

We did takeout for dinner from here a few weeks ago. We ordered the Lumpiang Shanghai and Veggie lumpia appetizers, Chicken Adobo, Pepper Steak, and Pancit. The food was ok. Great customer service. We might return again for dine in to try other dishes.

I've come here twice now and tried two separate dishes: pansit with lumpia and the bbq pork skewers with lumpia and they were both so delicious. Located in the Randolph Plaza in Universal City, TX. This is a quaint little family business that is quite good. They are close to the military base and advertise mostly by word of mouth. The food is so delicious it reminds me when I was there. During the weekday they have a small buffet from 11-2 and on the weekends you can do karaoke or they might have live music. They will even cater a get together. I will definitely come back. If you're in the area and looking for some good food try this place. Highly recommend.

My friends and I were really full. We got their weekend special which has 2 main dishes, sides of rice or stir fried noodles, an appetizer, dessert and a drink. We got overboard and got a lot of food and more to bring home. The service was excellent and we are extremely pleased with the overall experience. Will be back for sure!!!

Food is good, one star off for price. Got a 25% off coupon on the "Entertainment" app so I thought I would try it. Not familiar with the food but the staff was great about explaining things.

I ordered food from @mahals.kitchen88 earlier this week to celebrate my friend @itbedonna for Mother's Day.

Last week, @mahals.kitchen88 just had its grand opening. I was curious to try the food and also wanted to share the Filipino food experience with my friend and her family. I told my friend Mahal has double meaning of Love and Expensive ❤️

I ordered pancit/noodles, pork BBQ stick, lumpia, honey BBQ wings, and fruit salad. The wings were the more Western dish. All the other food was authentic, especially the fruit salad. It was just like in the Philippines! The only little thing was that the wings were a bit dry. The sauce was good. There was enough fruit salad for my friend to enjoy another time, and she even had a container for us to bring home.

If you're in the Universal City part of town, you'll have to check it out!

Mahal's Kitchen Filipino restaurant experience was a gem. Family owned and operated this up and coming eatery is a feel good spot. First thing I personally noticed was the cleanliness of the atmosphere. Second thing was all the food was very organized & in it's place. We went on buffet day. Walking through about 8 or 9 different varieties of Filipino dishes that all Filipinos know & love was great.
Third thing was the taste of the food. All the flavors are there. Now don't get things twisted not all the flavors might be to your specific liking. Because no one can cook like your momma ?. But when tasting & enjoying what Mahal's Kitchen had to offer I knew exactly what I was eating from the sour soup to the skinny lumpias you can eat like 50 of with no problem.
The fourth and final thing is the customer service. What I personally saw was a family doing something that stands strong in my heart. Giving everysingle customer focus & attention to making sure when you walk in that door you feel home. Attention to your customers is everything & is what will make Mahal's Kitchen a rising star not only in the Filipino community but in San Antonio Texas.

I enjoy checking out new Filipino restaurants and decided to give this place a try. The food, service, and hospitality were all excellent. The waitress was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. I basically felt like a guest in someone else’s home. I had the quail egg and afritada this time. I look forward to trying out their other dishes including their weekend buffet!
