GSA is the place to take your game to the next level. The coaches are seasoned soccer veterans, boasting a wealth of knowledge and experience. They have fantastic equipment and amenities, and the numerous soccer pitches are exceptionally well-maintained. The office staff is extremely accommodating, and it’s always a pleasure working with them! Not to mention how much our daughter loves the U10 Girls Academy team and coaches!

They put people in charge and teach who have never touched a ball in their lives. If you want your child to learn something about soccer, never take him to GSA. It is not recommended at all.

Read this carefully before enrolling your kids to this soccer aacademy

I registered my daughter for soccer practice upon learning about the tryouts. We were delighted to enroll her after she successfully qualified. The club informed us of a relatively affordable season fee compared to other local soccer clubs. However, we were directed to purchase uniforms exclusively from a particular company, which sold them at high prices. The lack of options and suspicions of a deal between the company and the soccer club raised concerns, as a $20 jersey was being sold for $45.

One major issue is the frequency of tournament matches per week, which is unusually high. Having to commit to two days over the weekend for four matches is impractical and stressful for both parents and kids. Requesting a change to a more reasonable schedule of one tournament per week seems necessary.

Additionally, the club automatically includes participants in all tournaments, possibly for collecting hidden fees. These fees, ranging from $60 to $100 per tournament, contribute to coaches' travel and food expenses. The deliberate choice of distant locations for tournaments adds to the financial burden. This practice makes the club less suitable for individuals with an average income and kids interested in sports.

The coaches' attitude is another downside, as they often ignore questions and requests from parents. Balancing soccer commitments with homework and other activities throughout the week, including weekends, is challenging and exhausting for the kids.

Considering the points mentioned above, it is advisable to carefully weigh these factors before enrolling your sons or daughters in this soccer club.

We are NTH and we played a team from GSA this past weekend. WOW what horrible sports. It was a hard fought game, but we beat them 4-2. The coach apparently didn’t like it as he advised his club not to high five our kids at the end of the game. This was a home game for us at riverline in Smyrna, but our ref who mysteriously knew all the names of the players on the gsa team, made several blatant bad calls. One of our kids even got a yellow card. I have never seen our coach argue a call, but this time he did. Anyway ref stories are another matter. Just watch out for this club. They are definitely teaching these kids poor sportsman like conduct.

Easy location to get into and out of but not much else. The fields were about half mud and hard to play on.

This used to be a good place for the kids to play recreational soccer, but now they are constantly scheduling back to back games on the weekends including a Sunday game 70 miles away in Blairsville, Ga. These are school kids, some with part time jobs and other responsibilities. This is absolutely unacceptable. School kids should not be playing back to back games. It is neither fair to the kids nor the parents who have to sacrifice their time. Going forward, I think GSA needs to commit to one game a week and a 30 mile travel limit for recreational teams.

I had a wonderful time at the recent Varsity football game held there!!! I attended with my Son and Daughter-in-Law, who are dedicated fans of one of the Teams! My having a son who will be 48 years old in December of this year, it has been a long time since I attended a football game😀😀😁!

The stands were packed and the excitement spread EVERYWHERE! I loved being there! I also enjoyed several selections of freshly prepared food to order! The field is well maintained and the stands were not dirty!

So attend any activity scheduled there, as I am sure you will not be sorry.

The only difficulty is parking. We had to walk what seemed like a mile away to find a space, due to the fact that we attended a majorly important game that attracted thousands of fans and spectators. I suggest getting there early if a BIG GAME is scheduled. Other than that, this was a wonderful experience.

We just played a GSA team and they had excellent skills, however the players, coach and their sideline fans were terrible sports. They were winning by double digits (9 year old boys)- their fans openly mocked players on our team and their players shoved our kids to the ground more than 5 times (ref didn’t issue any cards despite at least one player on GSA getting called a foul 3 times for shoving). They even made fun of a child on our team for crying. Youth sports are supposed to teach more than just ball skills- sportsmanship when winning and losing is the life skill that will actually help them as adults and why most of us have our kids playing to begin with. It is clear that this organization only cares about winning and no other aspect of developing a player as a whole human being, and it’s just disappointing as a parent to see an organization with this mentality.
