This is probably my best find yet!! If you love biltong and droewors or are craving something south african, this is your place!! Dis blerrie lekker!! No seriously so happy my husband found this spot and will be returning!! They have Mrs Balls Chutney, Nandos sauces, chocolates like flake and aero, Five Roses and Rooibos tea, you name it!!

As an european who lives here, this place was one of the most amazing find in this city. Going in there feels like home.
Great quality and choice of sausages. And Omg the dry sausages!
And some real Biltong guys! I ve had the real thing in SA and that's the closest you can get to it!
That makes me think that I am due for a little restock of the good stuff....

My mom had been a customer since for at least 30 years and we loved when she would bring home the Turkey bitlong, dried sausages and thinly cut salami. She got my 3 kids hooked on their food too! Now that she has passed away, I take my kids there as a way to connect with their grandma and keep their memories alive. Thanks to my mom, they won’t eat store-bought salami! Spoiled much? Yes indeed! It’s a bit expensive but well worth the price to remember one aspect of how their grandma loved them! Their sausages are so tasty and fresh, their packaged foods are brands from Europe and it is family owned. They are super knowledgeable and friendly. We also love the curry ketchup, which I first tasted when living in Germany. I was so excited to know I could still get it! If you want fresh sausages and other yummy foods, you need to walk into the European Sausage Kitchen! You won’t be disappointed!

This is the place to get your biltong fix. And why not get sausages for your next BBQ gathering. They have a wide and superb selection of German and South African sausages...less work for the hosts and more quality time with friends and family. Enjoy.
