This is a super nostalgic feeling deli and a great spot to grab some lunch. They have pretty much everything you could want on a sandwich, from classics to new creations, but they also have a pastry case with tasty selections! The staff were very helpful and kind, and you can tell this place attracts a lot of regulars. This is yet another hidden gem for locals that is worth trying.

A real NY style deli with bread from NY. Excellent service, they will brew the decaf if you order it and it is a great cup of coffee. The cheesecake is delicious also.

The ordering system is a bit chaotic. I stood in line to order but was told to grab a seat. Tried to order at my table but was told to order at the counter. They made my order to-go even though I'd already grabbed a seat at that point. Went back to my table to eat and there was no plastic fork included in the to-go bag to eat the pasta salad. How would I have eaten the pasta if I actually did order lunch to-go? There were no plastic utensils sitting out, only metal flatware. Meanwhile some people who are clearly regulars were given table service and their food within about 5min. The portion sizes are also small. I'd expect about double the amount of pastrami for an authentic NY experience. They can stand to raise the prices some if they increase the portion sizes. Most of the staff were friendly though, even with an unorganized system.

Sadly, this was not a representation of a New York deli certainly not New York City or Long Island. The shrimp salad was not mayo based and it was spicy. I have never seen it like that at all. The lady should’ve at least mentioned that it’s not the traditional. There was no way that that roast beef or cheese was Boarshead, and all the signs say Boarshead meats. There was a shine to the meat that was not Boarshead! Looked and tasted more like subway and I’m not sure who’s waxy cheese that was. It was supposed to be roast beef and American cheese with tomato, salt , pepper and tomato. Sorry this is a no go for lunch for me. The cannoli was good though. Need I say I grew up on Boarshead as my mom worked for them and they would be very unhappy to see this is how there product is represented.

So, this is probably the saddest representation of a New York style deli that I have ever tried. The bread used for their subs is very hard, and very low quality. If you look at the bottom of the roll, all the little bumps make it look like a sandwich from Subway. The rye bread on our Penn Station sandwich was very soft, which made it get very soggy before getting home, the flavor of the bread is reminiscent of a college cafeteria, and the flavor of the meat was overpowered by the mustard. That being said, at least they used higher quality meat than a chain sandwich spot, but definitely not the same quality you get in NJ/NY. The coleslaw honestly wasn’t bad, but it isn’t remotely New York style, and severely over peppered. The place itself is chaotic inside, and possibly even more chaotic when just trying to take food to go. For my final gripe, who the heck is trying to charge $3.50 for a Dr.Browns can of soda!? It’s about $2.00 for a can in NJ/NY, sometimes even cheaper. Bottles can be about $3.50, but never for a can. Since they are getting them in bulk/wholesale, they must be making at least a 250% profit off of those cans. If these people are genuinely from NY, they should be ashamed. This place makes bodegas look extremely high-end.

Great food at good prices. Love the shadow art on the front window and the mural ok the side or the building!
We got two sausage egg and cheese on everything bagels. They did not skimp on anything and the sausage patty was just as big as the bagel!
The bagels were fluffy and delicious! Too many store bought or hard as a rock bagels everywhere.
We just missed it, but they informed us that they have a breakfast menu and the bagels come with sides for breakfast. That sounds like a great deal!
The owner and his wife were nice and friendly despite being beyond busy. They never dropped their smile or good attitude despite how busy they were. That is a good sign right there!
We will absolutely be back and we can't wait to try more of what they have to offer!

I was so impressed with this deli! I had a killer sandwich, it was one of the BEST sandwiches I’ve had in a long time! I went with my family and they all loved the food, if we lived in the area we’d come here all the time. Their dessert is spectacular, I ordered the cannoli and it was the best cannoli I ever had, my dad ordered the chocolate chunk cookie and also said it was the best chocolate chip cookie ever! He says if he could have it mailed to him he’d order it immediately that’s how good that cookie was!! On top of the tasty food, the service was great and the owner was the kindest lady! This is a must try place!!
