Morning Beach Park is absolutely a hidden gem on Denman island. You'll want to visit during low tide so look up when that is and plan your trip accordingly. You will need to take the ferry out to the island and then drive about 10 minutes. Park along the road and follow the path to the start of the staircase down.

The staircase from the top to the shore is just over 100 steps. Some of the stairs are a bit wobbly and there are sections where the railing is a rope rather than wooden. The stairs seem perfectly safe and we had no issues getting to the shore.

In low tide, there is so much shoreline and beach present. During our trip out, there were only two other couples on the beach but there was tons of room for there to be a whole lot more people and it not feel crowded.

It is important to note, there are no washrooms onsite. You will need to travel back to the village or the terminal for those.

Such a beautiful beach, the clear water, and when the tide is favorable, you can walk out to just Longbeak Point or even as far as Sandy Island

Beautiful spot. A bit of a drive on gravel road, then a short walk to steep stairs. Once on the beach one could walk for hours around the point and, at low tide, to Sandy Island. Lovely views in every direction.

Bump along a gravel road for a bit and take a short trail and steep stairs to a lovely beach. There's lots of sand when the tide is out, but bring water shoes in case. Trees along the shore provide good shade. Great kid beach.

If you want to cross and walk all over the path, definitely it has to be early or when the tide its not high, you can also walk through the woods, or just down the stairs and the beach.

A beautiful rocky beach. We did the walk to Tree Island during low tide. The walk was a bit harder than anticipated because of walking on the sand/rocks. However I definitely recommend doing it if you have the time.

At the north tip of Denman Island, the epic scenery at Morning Beach park is certainly worth the short ferry ride to Denman. At low tide you can walk further north way out on the sand spit to Sandy Island marine park (about a 6km round trip hike back to the stairs).

4.5 overall. There are a lot of stairs to take to get down to the beach area. Quiet area and didn't really run into many folks here.
