Not sure where these 5 star reviews are coming from but I beg to differ with the work that S.A Landscaping did. First off, I contacted Ali to come and fix some issues from last year and he kept saying he's coming and never showed up. Second there are too many issues to list and pictures to put up so I put up a few. The pictures don't show the full extend for the poor workmanship but shows some of it.
I had Ali do the landscaping around the house and in the backyard after building a new garage. About half the plants they put in were drooping and mostly not alive after watering them for half the summer. There are about two hick yews planted along the sidewalk of the property that are not growing or seem not alive.
The porch he did with the stone had to be done twice because the first time his associate laid them down they were were all not level and crooked. They had to break the stone on the porch and re-lay the stones properly.
The separation fence between the neighbor and our property they built in the backyard had issues as well. They do not look at the end product. By the way they don't know how to finish a job properly. Look at the picture below of the fence they built. A piece of wood sticking out and no handle on the gate to open it. They installed a piece of string that gets caught on the other side of the fence. Total garbage. Also its not straight. Its at a 45 degree angle.
Lastly I had them put the sod down in the backyard. Our backyard has a bit of a slope towards the sidewalk. The sod has some medium sized holes in certain areas because he never levelled it properly and compacted the soil down and let it sit for awhile before he put the sod down.

The team was amazing to work with. They were fast, clean and the work was top quality. We had a small retaining wall that was leaning over and the need to run a sump pump under existing interlocking. The team came in the morning replaced the wall and ran the piping underground, leaving the place better then they left it. Great team!

The team was very professional and informative.
They did exactly what I was quoted for and in a timely manor.
Our backyard looks excellent! They also did a great job in cleaning up which most companies looks past.
I would happily hire them again if I ever need any other landscaping jobs done!

We purchased a home in Whitby about a year ago, and the way the front pathway had been laid unprofessionally, it was a total mess - stones moving around and out of place.

We hired SA Landscape Associates to re-do the entire front pathway, build a step and a small patio, as well as edge our gardens - all in our front yard.

I can say these guys were hardworking, communicative, honest, friendly, and overall just a pleasure to deal with. The whole process from beginning to end was smooth, and any time we had questions along the way, they were happy to help. They completed the job exactly as promised and agreed upon. Any rain delays or issues we ran into, they quickly communicated with us and managed it appropriately.

I highly recommend taking a chance on these guys if you're in the market for this sort of project - they'll do a great job for you!
