We've been going here for decades, and the food is just no longer the same as before. We were so saddened to find out that the original owner had passed away and that the cooks had also changed. This place used to be the place where all the Filipino celebrities went to when they were in town. Before, you would really have a feel for the Philippines with their kubo placed in the front and in front of the TV. Didn't see the kubo the last time we came here. Hopefully, they will bring back some of the cooks or dishes they used to serve.

KUBO is under new corporate ownership, we were told yesterday when we went there for TAKE OUT. WE WERE SHOCKED TO LEARN, the Previous owner whom we knew well, had passed away 3 years ago and her restaurant was sold. It use to be called BAHAY KUBO.
YESTERDAY was the first time we were back after maybe 4-5 years.
Well, the food was good. No complaints. They have many entrees to choose from. Parking is tight, when any is available. Street parking is easy to find. But all in all, the new management is doing a fine job.

I'm giving a ? stars for the food. But my over all experience. Its cafeteria style, self serve, the staff is not as friendly, depending i guess if their in a good mood to be friendly. I been here five times. There's a few times that I run into a friendly staff and theirs a times that is not. Not very consistent. Very consistent with food. They have bathroom fairly decent, parking is easy depending on the time of day.

This used to be a really amazing Filipino spot but… now the food sits out and becomes solid. The flies roam around. And one of the cashiers has zero customer service skills. She’s the youngest one there I’m assuming, but she’s in her 40 or so and is just really rude

I thought she had a bad day but I went there a couple times and each time she had this attitude.

I sort of wanna give it another shot but not with that staff member there. She literally makes it unworthwhile to go
