I found two sweet babies to adopt at this shelter after I lost my companion, Violet. The kennels are all clean and well maintained. The animals are screened well and I love that I can get them neutered and chipped before bringing them home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. One volunteer was especially helpful with the cats and was able to give me an idea of the personality of most of the kitties. He even gave me the brush he’d used for several years for grooming his late fur baby! How sweet and kind. The adoption process was handled efficiently and we’ve enjoyed the company and affection of our two girls for several years now.

I already know the truth about this company. If you actually rescued these pets then you sure as heck don’t charge $300.00 dollars for an adoption fee. Good luck in trying to get Penny adopted again as she will end up coming back due to the biting. Penny bit my husband, and then again she bit my daughter while she was petting her. No it wasn’t a holiday, it was on a Sunday as your website said you were open. I’m sorry if your worker had to drive 45 minute. I drive an hour. I wasn’t going to tie her up to the door but I also wasn’t going to bring her back to my house for her to bit again. If nobody came then I would have taken her to the animal shelter.

You all are heartless and uncaring and I don’t care if I don’t ever get another pet from this company again.
I’ve seen all the negative reviews and I’m sure you probably blocked them as well.

After making this post. I got blocked on Facebook. Seriously is that how you handle unsatisfied customers. All I can say is I was told from a vet that places like these don’t tell the potential customers the whole story about the pets, that they are just wanting to get rid of them. I didn’t believe her at first until I had to bring the pet back due to excessive biting.

Run from this place. They don’t tell you the whole truth, they charge way too much and very very rude and unprofessional when you have to bring the pet back. The pet Penny a Shih Tzu mix bites and bites children. She needs a 1 owner that has no children. She is not a lap dog as that’s what they told me. She wouldn’t even get in my lap.

I adopted a pet from there, however they were very friendly and helpful at first but then 1 month in with our adopted pet, the pet started biting. The pet bit my daughter when she was partying the pet. I took the pet back in a Sunday in which the website stated they were open. I messaged them through Facebook and told them what I needed. Someone that worked there meet me to give a refund and she was not very nice at all. Very rude, no eye contact whatsoever, asked about a swap for another pet and she was very hateful and said “we’re not doing any swapping today”, I thought well OK. I asked about a particular pet and she said “he bites too”, all without any eye contact. I then said “ do they all bite” and again no eye contact and said “ pretty much”.
Very unprofessional, rude and very cold when you have to bring a pet back. I’m sorry but my kids come first

Very simple process! You can adopt an animal from here without having to jump through hoops. They are taken care of and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They even give you a coupon for a free health checkup! ♥️

We adopted Harriet, the cutest baby, on March 8. On March 13, she tested positive for Parvo. When we reached out to the Humane Society to let them know of the issue, we were informed that we could get a return on our initial adoption fee if we returned Harriet. What exactly happens when we do that? Either they’re going to put her down, or they’re going to expose even more animals to a dog with Parvo, neither of which were acceptable at all. Harriet is ours, and we had no intention of giving her up.

When my wife mentioned this on social media, the Humane Society not only removed their tag from her post, they deleted the initial post where Harriet’s sister was adopted (and in the comments, a photo was posted by the Humane Society of me and Harriet).

From the paperwork I received, Harriet was taken in by the Humane Society on 3/2/24. The same day, the Humane Society is posting about how people can come look at Harriet (Biscuit) and her sister. It makes one wonder what type of medical screens, if any, are being done by the Humane Society before they send these animals out into the world.

When the Humane Society reached back out to us, they mentioned that they had refunded the initial adoption fee, and offered to take her in and treat her, while letting us adopt her again after the fact. These half-baked measures weren’t offered to us originally, and we cannot trust the Humane Society to properly care for any animal.

It was awesome! We rescued a border Collie named Chilie and she is great! We recently got a rotwiler puppy from a breeder and she is great with him, she had puppies before we got him so she treats him just like her own puppy! She is absolutely adorable and we love having her

Went to the dog days of summer event and the people were super helpful in helping us find the right baby to bring home. They were sweet and knowledgeable and cared about the families the pups go home to. Thanks to Lawrence suggesting us a pup, we are now the forever home to the sweet Sundae who is a wonderful addition to our family!

We just adopted a 4mo old who was 2 days post spay surgery. She was running around and playing when we went to see her. We were given a bottle of meds and told they were for her pain. Got her home, seen the incision site and it didn’t look right. Took her to the vet and was told she had an infection setting it, they had to restaple her incision shut, and was told the meds we were given initially were for a parasite treatment. Per the vet the spay surgery didn’t look normal. Sad to say that we were lied to and given false information. I understand the humane society has limited resources, but they need to do better at being honest and taking care of the puppies.

The staff disclosed to me everything they knew about her and the trauma she had been through. The vet was able to determine her health problems and treat them to the best of their abilities. THANK YOU to all your staff! ❤
